Tonya Allen Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Tonya Allen Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in the spring of 2023 by Tonya’s sister, Lyndsey Tuttle, and Lyndsey’s husband, Eric. Tonya passed away December 26, 2005 as a result of domestic violence. Lindsey and Eric have made it their mission to increase awareness of domestic violence and mitigate its effects on our community. The Tuttles frequently hold fundraisers in an effort to make money available to Howard County Victim Services and most recently to create the Tonya Allen Memorial Scholarship Fund. The scholarship will be awarded annually to a high school senior from Forsan, Coahoma, or Big Spring High School.
